I am the unglamorous coach. Corporate life coaching built on toxic positivity is utter horseshit. Simple five-step plans wrapped in convenient acronyms like PIVOT, AGILE, or SMART are about as effective as snake oil. And "glamorous" coaches throw around terms like “Neuro” or “Quantum” without ever opening a dictionary to see what they mean.
Lived Experience & Endurance
I am the bastard who fell into Hell and climbed back.
I spent years educating myself at top universities, reading hundreds of scientific papers and books on psychology, behavioral economics, decision-making, evolutionary psychology, and applied economics written by academics—including Nobel Prize laureates.
Then I watched that hard work go down the drain. I was forced to change careers and ended up even doing manual labor in construction.
Born in Socialist Romania, my early years were marked by dictatorship and the chaotic transition of the late 20th century. Over the last 16 years, I lived in six countries (Romania, The Netherlands, the US, France, Luxembourg, and Germany).
Every move required adapting, understanding a new culture, and starting from scratch. In my late 30s I relearned French; at 40 I learned basic German. Returning to Romania in 2025 felt like moving to a foreign country after 15 years away.
In the midst of these heavy adjustments and severe psychological burnout, I fell into addiction. My life was ruined: I lost my family, my home, and a comfortable lifestyle.
With professional help and a grit forged in the fire of Hell, I climbed back. I have maintained my sobriety and am rebuilding my life from the ground up. At 43, I returned to university as an undergraduate student. I am working with my hands to channel energy once wasted on addiction.
